#16 (500) Days of Summer

Ugh. If there is one movie genre I hate, its films about depressed people who live in LA. I didn't realize they were in LA until about 30 minutes into the film, but as soon as I did I started getting irritated. I'm not sure why the reviews are so good for this film. The characters are generally unlikeable and spend much of the movie moping around complaining. Next time I want to see that I'll save the 5 dollars and just call a few people I know.

#15 District 9

A very smart sci-fi film that keeps you guessing from beginning to end. I'm not sure why but it seems that people aren't really catching on to this film. I loved it for its action and creativity. If you like smart action sc-fi films you definitely should see this movie.
