Snout (pronounced snoot)...

...is a bit of a delicacy in some parts of the country. What is snout you say. it is the nose of a pig. I ate some today. about 8 hours ago. I am still burping it. It basically is a pig nose cut up, deep-fried, and covered in barbeque sauce. At first it tastes like bacon.
